Every December, the Light the Night Christmas Parade floats down the historic Main Street of downtown Fredericksburg and is a spectacle of lights, motion, and holiday spirit that is not to be missed. The parade is held annually no matter what the weather and this year was no exception. More than 130 entries, including marching bands, parade floats, animals, and more participated in the event, much to the delight of everyone who attended. For even more fun and entertainment, The Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce hosted AfterGlow, a free, outdoor marketplace featuring unique holiday shopping, diverse food and wine options, and more.
This year, the 2021 Christmas parade is on Saturday, December 4th and will surely be a huge hit as always. If you aren’t able to attend the parade this year, don’t worry!
