Jody Nix at Pat’s Hall – January 19
On Saturday, January 19, Pat’s Hall will host a Western Swing Band featuring twin fiddles. Jody Nix and the Texas Cowboys will perform from 8 p.m. to midnight, giving dancers a chance to enjoy traditional swing music in the historic heated/air-conditioned Hall.
In addition to the twin fiddles, band members will play a steel guitar, drums, and bass. Jody Nix was inducted in the Western Swing Society Hall of Fame in 1996, and in the Texas Western Swing Hall of Fame in 2009. Jody has worked with Bob Wills, Ray Price, Marty Robbins, George Strait, Moe Bandy, Red Steagall, Asleep at the Wheel, Johnny Bush, Frenchie Burke, Tony Booth and many other entertainers.
