Annette Bennett at Agave Art Gallery – December 7

Agave Gallery wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and thanks each of you for your support and friendship. This Friday they are featuring watercolors by Annette Bennett, who, after earning a BS degree at Texas Tech and an MS at Texas A&M, worked in the cattle business. Retiring from further careers in Houston, she took lessons from realistic painter Julia Crainer, and discovered her creative nature. She recently won President’s Choice award for Texas Bluebonnets, and Best in Show in Brazosport.

They are also exhibiting for the first time wonderful oil paintings by their newest gallery artist Sheila Swanson. A past president of the San Antonio Watercolor Group and the Trinity Art League, Sheila is a member of the American Impressionist Society, National Watercolor Society, Oil Painters of America, Outdoor Painters Society, and the Texas Watercolor Society.
